It fell about a foot and a half and now the HD(I think) doesn't work.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do because all of the recovery info and serial # is now built into one of the partitions on the HD.

Yep, my parents 2 month old HP desktop is being sent in for a new video card and my Macbook's battery is all screwed up.

The Macbook's battery is probably my fault as I treat it like crap. I'm constantly unplugging it and plugging it back in. I've also never calibrated it like I'm supposed to.

I don't know what's up with the HP, other than it's an HP.

Benny, if you had an MSDN subscription you could get the media for free. Not sure where you'd be able to without one though.

I think CDW and those places sell just the media without a license for like $5
