    Mom's basement? :lmfao: J/K

Don't laugh, it's true. After I was laid off and my ex walked out on me and the kids I couldn't afford my house anymore. Put it up for rent and moved back home. I'm still having trouble finding permanent employment that would allow me to still see my kids on a regular basis. I take temp work when and where I can find it though.

I met a guy who lives in Frankfort (IN), went out once. When he and his ex wife were getting divorced, she got the house (they have 2 kids) and he moved in with his parents. He's pretty much refusing to date anyone because of living with his parents. I really do have to give respect to guys who sacrifice what's "cool" to do the best they can for their kids.

I know how that goes. I was laid off for a while and it definitely changes things on how you have to live. The biggest thing is to be optimistic and focus on your kids and bettering your life.

As far as the ex thing goes well....women can be great or spawns of satan. Just depends on what day of the week:D

I got the house and the kids. Still lost the house though. I don't date either. I really don't have a desire to.

You never realize how tough being a single parent can be until your in that situation. Baby sitters usually won't watch children longer than 8 hours a day. Finding an 8 hour a day job with no college education is pretty much impossible if you want to make more than minimum wage.

I'm thinking on going back to school but have no idea for what.

Being a single parent is rough but rewarding as well. My son is the most important thing in my life without a doubt.
