I still need to weigh it to see what similar guns weigh. Both without full mags and with full mags

Weighed mine the other night and it came in at 9.2 pounds. That's with the scope and loaded mag.

it starts and runs and drives but I have the most wicked vibration underload..

No vibration cruising and no vibration in reverse.

Sounds like your Tourqe Coverter. It's spinning under load, but locks up at cruise and reverse.

Driveshaft out of balance? U-Joints on the driveshaft?

SNS... Does it have that funky ball thing at the transmission end of the driveshaft? It's like 2 UJoins about 2 inches apart to create almost like a pivoting ball like thing?

It's called a CV (constant velocity) joint! and that is what it sounds like to me!!
