I feel like slapping a few engineers right now. Why would anyone design a car that requires removing an engine mount just to change a belt?

I literally had to support the engine with blocks and a jack just to get that stupid thing off.

Changing the back three plugs and wires was no fun either. Took me over an hour to dig down to them!

Gotta love "newer" cars. I think that the best car I had was my 87 Towncar. It was old when I had it but, there was plenty of room to work on everything and it sure was easy to get at...

It only has 85K on it so I guess its gonna be worth the effort. Its just been sitting in storage for a few years so I need to go through it before I try to crank it.

Hopefully it will turn out to be a decent first car for my daughter. If not, we wont have more than a few hundred dollars in it. It was a gift from my FIL.

They are great cars. That is still my Dad's ride. Low miles, rides great. He is a retired mechanic and when he gave up working on a car, it must be tough to tune up and belt.
