Gary, my mom raised Dobies when I was young....at one time we had 5 females have litters within 2 wks. 3 had 12, 1 had 13 but 2 died, and 1 had 10! My mom still has one tho, and her name is Reba. smart beautiful dobie/

Yep, they are by far one of the smartest breed of dogs that I know of, we have had 5 over the course of our life's! they were the best baby sitters we ever had!!
max kept our oldest from walking our in the road when he was about 2, Natasha kept our middle boy from going in the lake, to this day we don't know why she did that to him because she was used to us being in the water!! there was Rex one of th biggest Doberman I have ever seen and would never leave my side or never more then ten feet away. they were all great dogs!
