I've been hunting some, have seen does, the odd small buck, and other critters. Checking cameras again while I'm out tomorrow.

Been cutting my ash up for firewood as they die here, never going to be able to keep up.
Be careful cutting those dead ones. The guy that owned Smith Implements in greenfield got killed by one a couple of months ago.

Hard to sell logs from dead ash as they split when they fall so I'm just looking at firewood. Brittle wood when it's dried out.

Something eating your spruce Chock? I used to have trouble with bag worms.

Have had the bag worms yes, but my sis tells me there is something coming along that will put the blue spruce in the same catagory as the ash. :dunno:

There's something that infected evergreens here about 7 years ago. I lost my one pine tree and my neighbors lost all of their evergreens. I thought I was going to lose my bushes in front. Some kind of mite.

We are dealing with the oak wilt here and it has us a couple years ahead on firewood. Split and stacked...

It seems like there is also a beetle of some sort that is affecting the pines. The Christmas tree farm had to spray something for them.

I am trying to upload pics to Snapfish for a photobook and it is killing my internet. I'll be in and out until that gets done.
