We decided to go outside on the back porch and watch the stars last night. it lasted about 5 mins because it was so damn chilly lol. It got dry out here real quick like. Still been a great weekend so far weather wise. I ain't complaining!

Too many mosquitoes to sit outside. I said I was going to grill the steaks and then he sounded like he wanted to go to the blueberry festival for a walleye sandwich. I reminded him it is fireworks night...ten bajillion people will be there for that. I grilled the steaks. He didn't realize I had made potato salad so he was happy....steaks, tater salad, fresh tomatoes and cukes with sourdough bread. Walleye sandwiches can wait until lunch time tomorrow.

Just got back from an hour long cruise with the wife and the kids. Kids both wanted their heads out the window! A really nice evening tonite.

Too many skeeters to sit outside. I have at least 8 turkeys and 3 or 4 deer out there. I see at least two does and a fawn...but maybe one other one farther back in the weeds. Turkeys are chasing the deer out of the corn. The guinea is supervising all of them.

I've had my fill of beer for the day (3), cup o coffee sounds good, might have to do a fire in the pit again tonight
