We "Always" go to the Sears outlet store for our Appliances. Always. They have end of year in the box models for deep discounts to move them off inventory to make room for the new models.
We picked up the Washer/Dryer set (front loaders high tech) that were $1250 each for about $1400 for the set NIB.
Stove/dishwasher/Refrigerator the same way. You may have to be patient and go back a few times to find what you want/need but it will be in the store eventually.

The closest outlet store is in Portage (per Google) so that is an hour away. We did talk about checking it out, but it looks like some of their stuff is refurbished and that doesn't interest us. We may have to check it out though if they have new stuff too.

Forgot to say Good morning! I always do that!

I need to go out and feed the critters and I really should attempt to check the garden, but I think I will wait until it is a bit dryer in there (too much dew now) and maybe there will be less mosquitoes. I can hope at least.

Didn't take long to catch up in here this morning....only two pages posted since I went to bed.

There's one in Valpo by Walmart, I think. It's a Sears Hardware/Appliance store. Don't know if that means it's an outlet or not.

We go to that one for tools a lot when hubby breaks one or needs something new. It is the same as the one here in Knox or the one in Plymouth...those both sell appliances too, but are not outlet stores. I didn't even know the outlet stores existed until I was pricing appliances online and the one was only available at a particular outlet store. Then I had to search to find the one closest to us. I expected it to come up as South Bend since that is closer than Portage. I don't even know if South Bend has one. I may have to search that too.

Hi Red. Take your skeeter spray!

Snap - I was looking and it appears there are only two Sears Outlet stores in Indiana. One in Portage and one in Speedway.

We had a fire in the pit last night, the skeeters were bad at first, but by about 10 they were done. We sat out there till midnight.

I thought about a fire last night but when we got home on the bike, the stupid things were already swarming us. I want to use my fire pit this fall, but I am not seeing it happening at this point.

Fried chicken, mashed with gravy, gr beans in Mayberry. Good morning folks.

So far, I have had coffee and one maple nut donut. I feel like I should bake something but don't know what I want. I made bread yesterday so don't need to do that. It is cool enough to use the oven...I can't decide if I want to do pineapple upside down cake or something else. I have t-bones thawing for dinner. I might make some potato salad. Hubby is out playing with a four-wheeler that was brought over yesterday.

Good to know. I'm in Lake Station/Portage every week to see BF.

It shows it on 6 near Lowes. I knew that was close to you and Act. I almost had a job at a doctor's office in that area, but they didn't pay nearly enough for me to travel that far even though I would have been ride sharing with another person that worked there.
