I almost shot an owl from the top of my neighbors house around 5 in the morning today. He had been making the same call every 3 or 4 seconds for an hour or more. I finally realized he was hooting at a plastic owl that my other neighbor had attached to his fence. I tried noise, I tried a flashlight, I even tried a laser. This thing just was not going to be phased by me unless I fired a projectile.

I have an owl that does that every once in a while. Never have seen the blasted thing.

Pretty sure it was a "he' because it was friggin HUGE! It kept it up for about an hour before it gave up. By that time I was fully awake so I was a bit pissed.
