The first bar we stopped at today, I was walking along the water while I was waiting on my food, and I found my first ever Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. Mind you, im wearing flip flops and swimming trunks, and holding a beer.
Im yelling back to the boat for somebody to get my phone, which my wife conveniently moved, and couldn't be found.
I couldn't get a picture or catch it as it slipped off into th bayou. I cried a little.

The wife decided to start painting today. My living room was a wreck when I came home. I am currently banished to my bedroom for TV and internet. This is going to be a rough project. The real trouble is, when she is done painting, its my turn. I have to do all the floors. I might be in some trouble...
