It has to be hot. Hubby broke down and turned on the air yesterday. It would have been nicer if he had closed all of the windows first, but I got the ones he missed when I came home.
My son is bringing up a trailer load of stuff today so we had to clean out a corner of the garage this morning. I hope we made enough room, but it sounds like he doesn't have too much to go out there...mainly his motorcycle and tools. I think the boxes he is bringing will end up in the spare room.
I am back to making calls about pigs and pig poop...I am really getting tired of this topic.
Oh...and I think my Kitty Lou (the cat that is my baby that I have threatened on numerous occasions to have stuffed by a taxidermist after she dies) has tumors on her neck. Her neck is huge and she has hard lumps on both sides...likely on her thyroid from what I have been reading and not something that can be treated without surgery. They have developed fairly quickly so are most likely malignant. She had a rough start in life but has been with us since she showed up as a sickly kitten back in 2002. I am not taking her in as it does not sound like there is anything that can be done that would cure her and I am not going to spend a fortune on treatments and tests that will just allow her to live a few more months on meds. I told my husband, I will just watch and when she starts showing signs of being in pain or no longer being able to eat and have a decent quality of life, I will take her for her final visit. I dread that day, but I know it is coming.
