    Morning INGO!
Let's see.... i see the topics are humping, dogs (not humping dogs), kilts, flowers, and shooting!
One of my dogs...and I know which one it probably was- tore up some of my clematis vines that I am training to climb the pergola. Why do dogs tear up the good stuff, and not the weeds?
I really want to go shooting. I suspect I am starting to like shooting more than my husband, seems like I am usually the one wanting to go. I may have to load some ammo and go by myself, at this rate!
Got pork roast in the crockpot, and should probably take advantage of a day at home w/o hubby. Got to go thru some bills, and tackle the never-ending housework!
I have never been able to get a clematis established. Tried a couple of times.

Same here, neighbor has had one on a common fence for 4-5 years, it just doesn't spread.
Our Honeysuckle is though, it has nearly covered a 50' long common fence with the guy behind me..

I have at least 5 varieties. I don't seem to have trouble with them, other than the furkids getting into them! Every time I get the backyard plants and flowers looking nice, it seems we get a new pup that wreaks havoc on them! Oh well, I still have the front and sideyards! Pup just turned 1, so she ought to settle down on the destruction before too long...

One thing i have heard about clematis is that the roots need shade and mulch (but not mulch against the stem), but the plant itself needs sun. I really don't do much else with mine. I have a really pretty one in the front flower bed getting ready to bloom.

I had to google Honeysuckle. I don't have any, and haven't seen any i like around here. I didn't know there were so many varieties! I was looking at a vining, evergreen one. Wonder if the pup would like that one? :(
