I just got my new ones, script didn't change but after 2 years of working construction they were shot.

Seriously, save up the money and get Lasic....Best $3500 I have ever spent. I wore coke bottle glasses until 2007.

I'm right on the brink. Lasic might work, but I probably need the more involved procedure with the much longer recovery time.

I was told Lasic was likely not an option for me. Astigmatism is too bad or something like that. I've been wearing glasses since elementary school so they are just part of my life at this point.

Travel bans are just starting to get lifted. Some are still closed, mostly from abandoned vehicles that are preventing the plows from getting through but there is still blowing and drifting going on. Our drive is clear so I will go out tomorrow. Need to take the neighbor and one of the other residents from the apartments to Valpo to the eye doctor in the morning.

BD's is good, but expensive. There is a Chinese buffet nearby that is good and they also have a decent Mongolian BBQ grill. That's where we are going for lunch at the end of biggest loser...we will all over eat and gorge ourselves on terribly unhealthy food.

No, BD's isn't close enough. There's a fast food chinese place across the road from us, and we order often enough that they treat us well. $5 lunch specials and its ready in 10 minutes.

Can't beat that!!! That is one thing this town is sorely lacking, a good chinese place. Only one in town and it's icky...
