I had breakfast this mornin, and lunch just now.
I only had 1 meal the entire long day before that.
Last shifts were power glitches, compressor losses (3 the size of your house, 2 smaller that start the other 3), bearing cooling water loss, taper adjustments, fire, 3 cast start ups, 2 cast terminations, and some stuff I've forgotten.

In 16 hours they only poured 2 heats. Shoulda been 15-18 heats.

The management used to give my dad hell for sitting around reading a newspaper. After he told them "if I sitting here reading a newspaper, your making $. If I'm gone, your losing $". They finally got it.
