Well......at least you get the boost.
We keep things to the very edge. I refuse to let them run on my funds.
We owe the state every year as they truly suck raw eggs. Feds are not that bad if you do it correctly.

Somehow I screwed up this year and am getting a refund from both. I'm not complaining, I can sure use it.

I am not against this system. The kids are using theirs to pay for Vacation this year.
My son put a down payment on a car with his.
Little butt head found an immaculate 1996 Impala S/S with fair miles on it. I love those cars and so do both the boys. He rolled over in it last night all aglow.

We will have to pay. Thanks to the wife's hobby (job) that doesn't take taxes out of her checks. I also have a 1099 this year for proctoring the concrete certification exam.

...then I found it. It was by the coffee pot where I left it.

State taxes are totally unpredictable... always have been. It's always either pay a couple hundred or get a couple hundred back. No rhyme or reason.
