That was my response. Forced air was not the best thing to heat with here. The shop has 12' ceilings and 10' in the living quarters with a 16' peaked in the living/kitchen space. I could put a 1200 sg. ft. house in there with ease.

forced air with in-floor will make the in-floor work it's ass off!!!....all the air moving won't let the heat from the floor get to th T-stat's and the floor will over shoot.......i see wild temp swings in there.....

Yeah. The forced air is A/C only. He will have fans up high to get some circ. but no winter forced air.

Fun part, either the furnace or part of a door frame and wall have to come out to get to the heater.

Good news is, looks like the door/wall part was removed to install the heater, and they left it relatively easy to do again.

I have had to pull water heaters to even work on furnace in the past.

CM, how bad is it to swap out a draft inducer motor on a Payne furnace? It's whiny and I'd like to go ahead and do it while the WH is out of the way.

    Is it do it myself-able?

Morning all. I really wish I had been smart enough to schedule this week off as vacation. I do not want to be here this morning (although I say that most mornings). Such is life.
