I wanted to post this and get people's opinion but I'm not sure where to post it ...:dunno:

It's not really self defense or firearms related even though firearms can be involved if you hold someone at gun point.

If I experience a potential deadly threat and and I have the ability to end it, that's what's gonna happen. End of story. I am not interested in "arresting them" in the sense of a citizens arrest. I am interested in arresting their existence.

I could sit on their chest until the police got there. ;)

No, seriously, I don't know. I don't want them in my house, but I don't want them to get away. Since the longer I have them at gunpoint means the more opportunity they have to overtake me, I would probably either shoot them or just give them the chance to get out. (Not sure which.)

    lol

If I call in advance can you make sure you're wearing your Hooters costume before I break into your house and you have to sit on me? :naughty:

You can even keep the door open so that I don't have to break anything. :):

Also I was asking in which section of INGO I should post the video. :dunno:

It is not your job to hold anyone at gunpoint. The handgun should not even leave the holster unless it is to be fired to end the threat.

Yeah I bet holding someone at gun point during a situation where there is no threat to you would bring you lots of trouble.
Like if you hold someone at gun point for shoplifting.Or even if you do it without your gun.

I'm not sure which kind of crime let you arrest someone in the US.
I know in France we have also a citizen's arrest law but I believe it can only be used if you witness a crime punishable by at least 3 years of prison.
Like you can arrest someone if you witness a murder or rape but not a parking violation or shoplifting.
