Aggravating day at work today. Nothing like getting pulled off a job that you made a commitment to finish by a certain time to take care of an "emergency" created by somebody else.

I always make it clear to the higher ups that when I am pulled off a job for some BS emergency the people who pulled me off will be receiving any and all calls about why I didn't get the job done.

I made sure the staff at the location I was leaving with a down machine knew exactly why I was leaving before the job was done and that I was NOT happy about it. They didn't like it but at least they understood.
