I got to dry fire the newly upgraded beater yesterday. It still has some issues but is going to be very sweet.

I have made that drive 3 times, took us 4-5 full days, but we stopped & looked at stuff on the way.

We may have to go Thursday to do some more op tests. We want everything to be running top notch for this weekend. He wants to bring them all so I guess we are.

I owe the State some taxes this year and this project will clear that debt. Feds I did OK on for a change.

My Dad and his girlfriend were just out in Oregon. Her son and daugther-in-law live out there. Dad flew out, not even going to attempt to drive it

My spouse is good for about 50 to 60 miles and she comes unglued.
Our last Vaca. road trip 2 years ago was exactly that.....the last one.
If we can not fly.......I ain't going.....

Sometime I'll have to tell you about the 1st time I made that drive. Seattle to Batesville in a real POS 25 yr old 4 banger car with no radio, PS, PB or AC. And 2 adults and 3000 pounds of rocks in the backseat......
Semi's & school busses were passing us going uphill in that crate.......
