I finally did it after the first of the year.

How is your daughter doing? She stayed in Colorado, right? It is so gorgeous out there...not sure I could leave if I lived there.
She loves it there. She's really doing great. Has her own place now. I'm proud of her!!

She's been making over $700 a week cash!! She's like her mama!

It's nice when they can start to support themselves. My young artist is starting a new job on Tuesday. He passed his national certification exam as a pharmacy tech and St. Vincent's offered him a position in their inpatient pharmacy. He hates the retail stuff where he is now at a WalMart so this is a great opportunity for him. I believe he said his pay is going up to about $13 an hour to start. He starts there on Tuesday and hopes he can finish this semester at school. He's not sure if the schedule is going to work. If not, he said, he will try to get on nights by fall so he can restart at art school then. He will continue his art either way. He isn't convinced the degree is really necessary for what he wants to do and is hesitant to get too far into debt for schooling so I have to respect the desire to stay out of debt.

He plans to come home for Easter if he doesn't have to work at the new job.

    Hi Robby!

Hope your son does well on his new job. I start mine Tuesday!! I'm a little nervous. I've only done one thing for the past 30 years. But I am excited too!!
