Take a class. It was awesome. I freaked out on my honey moon in a third world county after 10 minutes of instructions before they took me down ~40 ft.... but after taking a legit class here in the states.... awesome

I did my check out in gilboa in october or nobember (cant remember)... but what an awesome place.

Im still trying to accumulate funds for gear.... but shooting supplies always bring my disposable income down

Gilboa had really clear water due to the zebra mussels. The problem I have is with their docks and stairs. They seem to be dangerous and in disrepair. I'll let you know the dates that our shop is heading to Mermet Springs. Their facitilities are awesome. They keep everything in tip top shape. They have a Boeing 727, Cobra chopper, Cessnas, Fire Engine, School Bus, boats, semi, train car, submarine, and a bunch of other stuff sunken and all connected by labeled ropes. Their facilities and employees are awesome.


Let me know if you need gear and I'll get you in contact with my shop. I bought my first set of gear used but recently serviced through the shop for under $500 total. That was including regulators, computers, and a BCD. The shop always has ex-rental gear for sale.

I might take you up on that.... I need to find people to dive with.... I still feel my skills are limited soooo its a bit of hinder.... and make me hesitant to go on dive shop trips.
