I am so OCD with my yard. if it gets to tall I just tell the hubby "Mow it or I will" and it is usually done when I get home. I don't know why he won't let me mow anymore.

If you enjoy and can do it I say do it! My landlord wont let me mow. He says he enjoys it. It could be that he doesn't like that I mow in circles or make weird patterns in the grass.

I have dogs that need a bath though. Maggie still has blood from surgeries and her sliced ear all over. Need to let the ear heal 100% before we can get her in there.

I quit wearing flip flops when I took a chunk out of my left foot with a rototiller a few years ago. Socks and shoes when operating equipment.
