Agreed on all counts but he won't listen to me when I say he needs to get it looked at. And I'm of the belief that the gun wasn't loaded or the dude was just a p****. He very well could have been killed tonight. But he wasn't (thank God!!!). Why? If someone was beating the out of me I would shoot them. Why didn't this guy do that?

1st...he probably had no ammo in the gun. Thugs do not spend money on essentials.
2nd...the gun may not have been in working condition.
3rd...the safety may have been on the whole time and douche bag was unaware. Likely a stolen gun he had "Never" fired.

Car jacking thieves are not smart people. Tom is lucky in the fact he left with no side arm (Really Tom) and he has some self defense skills.

Lessons learned, home in almost 1 piece. Glad you are able to tell the tale.
