As far as I know it's permanent, my mother in law has a plate and some screws in her left wrist due to a fall about 4 years ago and she has no problems what so ever.IBM, do you know if the hardware will stay in his leg? I'm just wondering, I know from experience that if it stays in it will hurt forever.
Dang, this sounds like it's getting worse by the day.
Although I don't know him, send him my best wishes, thanks IBM
Imagine setting off the metal detectors from now on...
That is one nasty break... literally.
Hope he recovers quickly.
BTW.. great meeting you yesterday IBM!
I got to meet Indybeerman today. Nice guy! And, he get's to drive a beer truck!
I got to meet Bigum today, and I agree with him.... I'm a nice guy!
OK I don't want to play the pickle game.
What sucks is he was not given any pain killer right after the operation so when he came out of the anesthetic his foot was killing him, about 15 minutes after woke up they gave him ORAL medication from what his wife told me. It took an additional 1 hour for the pain to subside.
Myself, I would have grabbed someone by the throat and ripped out a larynx
if I would have been in the pain he was in that his wife described to me.
When did this turn into a picture thread?
