Dropped the boy off at Camp Belzer this morning for his first Cub Scout camp. Well I rode along and the daughter dropped him off. that 40 minute drive wore me out. Time for a nap.

I see Gary mentioned a little comp. shooting at the PW shoot...Gary,if we go that route you're gonna have to gimme some basic pistol instruction..if the target is over 7yrds I'll be lucky to hit it, unless its the size of a barn door:dunno:

No you won't!! Everyone will be brought up to speed before we start the course, Trust me on this one it's what I do for a living!! you will be amazed on what you can and will do :D

How many rounds should we expect to use?

Minimum of 300, 500 is better!! you will also need to have a hip holster, leather or Kydex (any plastic) holster, Nylon holsters do not hold up well or allow for a clean draw!! eye and ear protection, I do have some extra eye and ear protection for those that do not have any!! I also have some extra holsters that can be used, but they will be first come first served!!and they may not be gun specific but will work!!

    What camp?

I know it's a longer drive, but you might talk to the troop about looking into Old Ben Scout Reservation in Petersburg. It's where I went to camp and it's an old copper strip mine that was replanted and donated to the scouts. They've got a shooting range and obstacle course, and a lot of awesomeness.

Yep!! or if you don't have one you can work out of your pocket with the mags, Oh! and of course a good leather belt!! I say this because I have had people show up with a holster and gun but no belt!! :D

I'm going to come like this...
