    I understand how to get a badge but how do you get different colors. is it peoples rep powers? or how many badges you previously had?
    Every time you fill up those little pips you get 1 badge. 3000 points
    It takes 5 bronze badges to get 1 silver. It takes 5 silvers to get 1 gold.

    4 silver = 1 gold

    Every time you fill up those little pips you get 1 badge. 3000 points
    It takes 5 bronze badges to get 1 silver. It takes 5 silvers to get 1 gold.

    To rectify these posts... after you get 4 bronze badges, the next time you fill up the pips so that you'd normally get another bronze, instead of a 5th bronze, you'll get a silver. Similarly for 4+1 silvers being displayed as a single gold badge.

    I guess your explanation is more accurate than mine but you never actually see 5 badges the same color right?
