Got mine in the crockpot too. Hurst's 15 bean soup mix with a bunch of ham and onions. I'll make jalapeno cornbread (with creamed corn instead of milk) tomorrow.

That sounds like some tasty cornbread.

Mine is the 15 bean soup. I don't normally do it in the crockpot but having to clean at my parents' today, I decided to try it. It is not as thick as when I do it on the stove, but I'm sure it will taste just fine.

It's really good. I just use two boxes of Jiffy mix and instead of the milk, I use 1 can of creamed corn. I add a little brown sugar and the finely diced jalapenos. It's not quite as moist as the Mexican corn cake, but it's a little sweet with a little heat.

Mine was started at about 3:30 this afternoon and it's still on high. I'll turn it down to low before I go to bed and it will be ready to eat by 11 or 12 tomorrow. It gets pretty thick from the beans breaking down.
