    I need to make some corn bread to go with the ham and beans that are in the crock pot. BBL
    Got mine in the crockpot too. Hurst's 15 bean soup mix with a bunch of ham and onions. I'll make jalapeno cornbread (with creamed corn instead of milk) tomorrow.

    think I am going try a new pork chop recipe tomorrow nite, it has crushed corn flakes.
    thought I would pair it up with a new cheesy tater tot casserole

    Mine is the 15 bean soup. I don't normally do it in the crockpot but having to clean at my parents' today, I decided to try it. It is not as thick as when I do it on the stove, but I'm sure it will taste just fine.

    Mine is the 15 bean soup. I don't normally do it in the crockpot but having to clean at my parents' today, I decided to try it. It is not as thick as when I do it on the stove, but I'm sure it will taste just fine.
    Mine was started at about 3:30 this afternoon and it's still on high. I'll turn it down to low before I go to bed and it will be ready to eat by 11 or 12 tomorrow. It gets pretty thick from the beans breaking down.
