Looks like Giffords is running a Gun Registry of their own. An email address isn't anonymity. It can be absolutely traced to the name and address of the person using it -- starting with recording and saving the IP address of the person filling out the form. I'd guess the huge majority of those who signed it are using joke email addresses, such as "I.P.Freely@Bogons.org" or maybe "Hugh.Jass@hughjass.org" and his wife, "Emma.Roids@hughjass.org" to make them look like idiots.
