I always wonder why. I guess if I could ever figure it out, I could try to avoid it.
Maybe just holiday excitement. Getting to be with people two days in a row was more than I could handle

Oh yeah. Done that! My wife split her toe open stepping on one a few years ago. She didn’t grow up with Legos like I did so I had to set her straight about making sure they’re dumped on to a mat or blanket for easier clean up.

What a stellar day with family and friends.
Great food. Lots of leftovers even after we made to go bags of food to take home
Everyone pitched in. Life was really good.
