Seeing that truck reminds me of one of the great memories I had as a child. We were by no means rich, but Dad was a builder and as a result, built us a living room as big as a barn. We were actually able to ride our bikes in the house as long as we didn't get too rowdy.

We are having very mild weather here. 43 and cloudy but I'll take it.

I need to put the ham in the oven. I plan to make scalloped potatoes to go with it. Maybe a broccoli dish as well.

Just checked and glazed the ham. scallop taters are finishing, corn pudding is done. roasted brussell sprouts have a few more minutes

We are planning on eating about 4:30 and we are right on schedule.

I'm going to have to return one of my gifts from Susan. I'll probably wait until next weekend though. She got me an air fryer and it's a nice one, but we just don't have the counter space for it. There's literally nowhere to put it. I'd love to have one, but it's just not going to work for us.
