Yes. He said file the barrel throat with a stone to get rid of the lip created by the bevel. He thinks a dremel will take too much off. He said Kimber messed up beveling the feed ramp. Same thing I thought. Also switch to a 7 round mag with a Wolf 7 round spring and a Pachmayr domed follower so the nose doesn't dive. He said you can't get something for nothing and give up reliability with a 8 round mag. Also shoot 230 grain because 1911's have a timing that gets thrown off with 180 grain.
