Good morning INGO. IBTL (as opposed to the last thread)

I’m feeling a bit lost this morning. My dad is in the hospital. He is 76, and has gone from clear headed, but a bit forgetful, and able to get about well with a cane, to unable to stand and taking minutes to respond to simple questions over the course of a few weeks.

please keep him and our family in your prayers.

I know many of you have been or are in similar circumstances. You are in my prayers as well.

    God bless-

    In our prayers EP.

Good morning lurkers. It is quite a dreary, windy day.

Sorry to hear about your dad, EPeter. Your family will be on my prayer list. I was caretaker for an elderly neighbor for 6-1/2 years before she passed last October. It is hard to watch them deteriorate but the time I had with her made me a better person. I feel blessed to have been able to help her. Treasure the time you have left with your dad and spend as much time as you can with him. I know the neighbor truly appreciated that I was there for her and my presence made her life better.
