    Wasn't just new generation.
This guy was there with his wife and son.
    He's blind.
Loaded the Ruger 10/22 magazines on his own. And people think I'm mean for making kids load their own.
But he loaded the mag, loaded the gun, and charged the handle.
then he fired, though he needed someone to look in the sights. He shot with his head angled so that someone else could look down the sights.

It's a reprint of a 1936 (I think) map with the day by day battles, position of the troops, cemeteries, parachute trop zones and stuff.

Amazing!!! You lucky to live in the middle of history. I've always envied my family that lives down south and owns land that actual civil war battle was fought on. We use to dig relics.

If I lost my sight, to the point where I couldn't shoot at all. That would be awesome. The first time I shot an ar15, the smell of the blowback brought me back to being 18 years old with a M-16.

And WW2 history is just a small part of our local history.Lots of medieval stuff too around here. :)

I'm about to pull my hair out. I had three new TV's delivered today. Of course one didn't work, so I had to drive it back to the store and get a new one. It wasn't fun setting them all up and moving furniture.

Yeah I'd be all over that too. Love me some wenches :):

    :):

    Medieval warfare is fascinating too.
Sometimes it's also linked to WW2.I know a medieval castle where the Germans built modern bunkers inside the already very thick walls of a medieval castle.
The cave was also used as a undergound hospital during the war.
