Getting ready to install the freshened engine in the engine bay of the Cougar XR7-G. I also got correct front coil springs and the associated hardware.

It is an S code 390.

I also still need to rebuild the carb and refurb the A/C compressor.

Wow.....you even hooked up the Vacuum lines in what appears to be the proper way.

When i got the car, it had a generic racing dizzy with no vacuum advance. Trying to figure the vacuum configuration has been a challenge since 1968 was an oddball year for the dizzy and the dual vacuum advance. There are about 3 variations of vacuum routing depending on trans type and A/C or not. I think I have it sorted though.

I am lucky to have a hell of a Mustang guy helping me out.

They are in fair shape. Drivers seat has a big "Garf" in it.

the back seat has lots of life left in it. Probably 3 times nicer than mine, i could live with the passenger seat and use the driver until i can order a new cover or a brand new seat. Those suckers are exapensive in A1 condition. Im gonna watch it for a few days and shoot him an email. Who knows maybe i can get em for a song and dance
