My "guy" uses Diamond and Ross for all the steet builds. Not sure what he uses when it comes to the race cars...

I need a Forged flat top. With the chambers measuring 61cc's (I had the heads decked when the engine was built) this will put me at 11 to 1. Yes I will have to run a mix of premium unleaded and Cam 2 but this will not be a daily driver.

Our engine builder prefers ross pistons. But we have also had good success with venolia

Finally got caught up on Street Outlaws. Shane (and Bob) rolled the Vega. He's ok. But next week, they take part in a track race in Texas. Should be interesting.

    My day

Put the 64 on stands and with the help of my son we got into the steering problem. Front wheels are pigeon toed.
When we got into the process of installing the refurbed center link we found the issues were much deeper.
Looks like a roll-back and a trip to my buddy's alignment rack.
Also broke the passenger side hood hinge today. On the pic it is easy to see.....:(

12 bolt for the 442 clone project.
All new guts. 3:55 gear on a Yukon posi unit.

    Yukon axles with C-clip eliminators.

    Nice rear disks.

Put the rear cover on it and out to the shop. Body/frame is on the rotisserie. Pulling the frame and making it a roller.
