So I just watched the new Top Gear America. Not sure about it yet. I really, really enjoyed Top Gear USA but looks like that run is done. 3 new hosts including Antron Brown, NHRA top fuel champ.

It seems to follow the original Top Gear layout. I guess I'll give it a few episodes.

Also heard Aaron from Gas Monkey is getting/had got his own show now. I'll see what I can find.

I am well over the Gas Monkey crew.

The new Top Gear America cast is worse than the last one. I like Bill Fictner as an actor, but he is trying to damn hard to be cool. Wookie and Antron are just annoying.

So a guy is interested in buying my 1964 327 motor. The block needs bored and crank turned.

The double hump heads have lots of work on them.
SS valves opened up to 2.02 and 1.6.
    Bronze guides
2 angle cut on the seats
    studs are drilled and pinned
    roller rockers
    victor jr intake

    Any idea what it's worth?
The guy wants to change out the 230 motor in his 64 Malibu with this motor.
It came out of a 64 chevelle

Man that is a tough one. It sounds like it needs some serious work.
That it is serial numbered from that year is a plus. But being a wounded warrior it is hard to put a $$$ figure on it. Pretty much up to you.

I went over to the yard today and we pulled a 4L80E out of a GMC 1500 2WD. 1997 In believe. Going to call my Trans guy tomorrow and see if this will fill the bill.
I get this done and move onto the frame/rear end. Once OI know where the rails are going I can cut down the rear end and get the axles ordered.
Then I will be looking at brakes.
I am in negotiations with a friend that has all the equipment to do the frame. He wants a souped up AR. I have several. I will end up doing a lot of the welding after he cuts and fits the pieces up in the car. I wanted to do this anyway.

Moving along. Looking at making some laps in the spring.
