I had the pleasure of helping a buddy, moving his shop over the weekend. A few pictures.

    Awesome stuff KJ!!

I got a TON of stuff done on the 5.3. Got 4 out of 6 exhaust manifold bolts removed before the first extractor rounded out and the second one broke. I’m very pleased with that. I was able to keep the entire wiring harness connected to the intake manifold pull the whole thing off as one piece. I got all of the accessory brackets and the motor mounts stripped off of the motor. Pulled the other valve cover and it was just as squeaky clean. Gonna try to knock off most of the grime and hose it off. Next step is pulling engine out of the truck and swapping over all the parts.

4 out of 6 bolts removed isn't bad. If you have a small ball tipped carbide burr or one that is straight with a radius tip you can use that to grind the broken easy out, out of the bolt (works better than drilling it). Again just go slow

Oh, I know. I am just spoiled with MASSIVE fenders and holes to stuff tires.

One of the draw backs to many GM Muscle cars of the day. Limited rear wheel wells. The Chryslers products I have owned had massive area fro rear tires as compared. Even my 65 Biscayne was limited to a 10" tire. I knew 2 others that managed to get 11" tires under them but they had to get real creative.

Meh. I like that look but have known several people who have had jegs wheels and have been disappointed. Most the problems I have heard have been clearance for aftermarket brakes, recessed lug nut fit.
For similar money you can get a set of Weld rts wheels. They are available with the black center with the polished lip. I suck at posting pics and links. Look them up on jegs I'm sure you will like them. I have the fully polished style to go onto the Mustang...someday.
