There ARE some things I miss about not having "the tube" in the house any more but commercials are tough to get over for me so I'll keep the $100+ per month! I wonder if any of the online stuff has velocity on it. . . . .

Motor week. Dodge Demon test. It was at Raceway park here local. They do run.

Not sure if this is the right place but i built tis " hot rod " a week or two back. I hit 28 mph on it earlier this week and it keeps getting stronger every time i run it.

    Ha......I love it.
Reminds me of my 1st motor bike. Literally strapped a 2 cycle engine from an old washing machine to a Schwinn. Yes it worked and yes it got crashed a few times

Yup ive dumped it one time. Which isnt bad considering ive lost brakes 3 times. Sucker will get up and go, first time i passed a car i was hooked. Im think if i up the octane and change up my oil mix i can get another mph or 2 out of it. If you tuck your head and go wide open on a down hill it starts to get real scary

Blew out a seal on the truck. The axle is 2 1/4" thick. It's got over 1 million miles on it too.

So I have been on the phone today with Jegs and Hooker.
My headers are not done yet. Not even in the jig yet.
    ****ing head exploded.
Jegs found a set from Heddman. They are supposed to fit my application. "X" frame/angle plug heads. And they are half the money.

Well we didn't exactly set the world on fire. We had some scheduling conflicts and dad has been dealing with a messed up shoulder and siatica nerve issues. So we only got the car out a few times. No personal bests but we were competitive.

Hey you were there man. You were and I was not.

I did see some pics of my 70 Camaro today. The guy that bought it is really turning it out.

I've made a little more forward progress on my project as well; I managed to get the strut rod brackets welded into the racecar last night and although I'm not a welder (I own one) it turned out pretty well! Tonight I'll clean it up and throw a coat of primer and a little chassis black on it to protect it until I decide how I want to treat the underbody.

    Forward momentum.

I have been busy replacing some of the worn out equipment in my shop. The drill press was tired. The belt sander locked up. Both have been upgraded.
New to be blast cabinet. And some additional lighting as I am getting :oldwise: so now I am ready for winter and project time.

    Oh yeah....stereo is upgraded.
