    Near the big river.
Daughter #2 was at Purdue, she took notes for a blind student as part of a church outreach. One of the classes was a prof who was rabidly vegan and ranted about murder of animals/meat eating. I sent her Burger King coupons every week to have lunch after the class.

I'd pay to see that...and join in the burger munching. Cheese preferably.

    Wait!?! Where's The Mouse?

    Pay.
That'd probably be the most fun I've had this year, if I did it.
Though, now that I said it, it sounds kinda sad.

If they want to be vegan, that's fine with me. They can be vegan, or only eat corn off the cob on Sundays, or what ever works for them.
    But when they start preaching...

But then after being stuck deployed on a sub with a born again Christian in my division (RC division), well I have a low tolerance for any kind of preaching.

Yup. Though I think there is a vegan reply to it I haven't watched.

    Okay, I watched.
    Boo Hoo.
    We're not all that way.
    We're just starting a discussion.

Side note: If it was a class on veganism, or some derivative thereof, then I wouldn't have a problem with it.
But, what does it have to do with... I don't know... any college subject.

Man, I think maybe I should find out if they schedule these things at Purdue Calumet. I might visit, showing interest in going back, so that I could point and laugh, and eat meat.

    Maybe some BBQ RIBS.

You are correct acteon. The class had nothing to do with dietary choices. If I remember correctly, it was some type of weird ethics class.

    Where's the bacon?
That's out of Proverbs, isn't it? You worked with Soloman? :)

It may be. I only heard it from my former partner. It wouldn't surprise me if he quoted it.

And no, I didn't work with Solomon. I did like his work with Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury, though.

AFAIK, only Chewbacca worked with a man named Solo. ;)
