I'm thinking she's probably one of those maddening functionaries we encounter from time to time in our interactions with the .gov (including state and local). Sounds like she'd be a natural for CPS or maybe rolling out common core math for some school board, somewhere.

Sadly, the reality will be, "Pat works at a fast food restaurant and earns $10/hr; her boss earns $35/hr. If a fair minimum wage were made into federal law, making Pat's pay rate $15/hr, what percentage increase would Pat receive, and how much less percent salary gap remains to that of her male boss?
