It was entertaining enough, but unless someone comes up with something truly original, I'm about done with the superhero genre' overall.

Bigger fake explosions, more impressive fake technology, longer and louder car chases, more last minute escapes where no one thought they would make it.

Infinity War was just a long commercial for "Captain Marvel", a character so important, so revelatory and so pivotal that while she existed in comics since 1968, she hasn't been in a movie yet and non-nerds never knew existed. I get it- a woman has to save us all because it's the age of #metoo and the fake gender wage gap.

Time to put it all away for a few years until someone has an original idea.

I'm pretty much right there with you. I haven't seen the last few in the theaters. Heck, I actually saw them on Netflix. Still waiting on Infinity War. I don't need to pay money to be told how racist/sexist I am.

Same thing with the Star Wars movies. They won't get anymore of my money directly either.

Inthink the MAGA hat would be more effective. It represents a sort of “all the above” in terms of offensive. It’s sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, islamiphobic, anti-poor, pro-gun/NRA, all at the same time.

EA just fired one of its executives for remarking to a female employee that he didn’t want to get into a dick measuring contest. The woman took it as sexual harassment and got him fired. Fragile.

David Pakman is a good guy, has sort of a Dave Rubin-esque show of his own, and he would be considered "liberal"... but now he's seeing first-hand how when you lay with dogs, you get fleas.

This happening is a good thing. Experiencing firsthand how insane people can be is just what you need to move ever so slightly on your personal scale.

2 days ago @Amy_Siskind posted that she won't vote for white or male candidates in 2020. I pointed out this is racist and sexist. Yesterday she blocked me on Twitter. Today she called Boston College demanding they not have me back as adjunct faculty.

Is she in some kind of position of authority at Boston College? Why would she think they would give a flying **** what she "demands"? What will she do if they don't do what she "demands"?
