I was cutting my grass yesterday afternoon (you know in the 95 degree heat) when I get a call from someone named “no caller id” (personally i don’t know anyone by that name), I answered it, and the caller said that

“I’d won the publishers clearing house sweepstakes and would be awarded 7500 dollars a week for life!”

I replied “let me guess you want my bank account information?”…he said no we don’t need that!…then I asked “well how are you going to scam me then?”…I waited a second and didn’t hear anything…I looked at my phone and I guess somehow we got disconnected…cause the screen was black!

I work for PCH in the sweepstakes dept. Yesterday I was like cool, a winner in Indiana, my adopted home state! So I called the guy who obviously thought I was a scammer and got really rude. I then saw the next name up was from WV my home state, so I said screw it and hung up. Just so happened it was my uncle who answered. We are splitting the cash payments.
