Last winter? Lol. Early 2014 was like this for weeks on end.

In 2014, we had more cold in January. But the worst cold spell we had was followed by a 40+ weekend. I remember cause we lost power on a Tuesday at 2AM. I woke up at 5AM to -15 degrees and the lines on my outdoor boiler were already frozen. That weekend, everything thawed out and my only damage were the heat exchangers in the garage and breezeway.

Had I woke up earlier, I could have fired up the generator. It prompted me to get a couple of these...
