    I was thinking a potato gun

    I had heard a long time ago that some communities have local ordinances making spud guns unlawful.

    And for Kirk's benefit, when he gets here because I've used the words "highly illegal" in an INGO post as bait :):, I don't think I heard this in a gun shop, but it's been a long time. If I did, it was Flat Creek. Where I heard it is less important than whether or not it's true.

    I would be curious if it was true in some places in Indiana. As a local ordinance, it's my understanding that it would not carry any penalty other than perhaps the payment of a fine, unless damage or injury resulted from the firing thereof.
