Granddaughters wanted waffles for dinner. I toasted the waffles and handed it off to them. They both claimed that they didn't use butter, but whenever I've made them for them in the past, I've always buttered the frozen waffles before putting them in the toaster oven. Now they're like, "These aren't the same color as they usually are. They've got light and dark spots." I told them, "Yes. That's why I butter them before they go in the toaster oven." Youngsters...
