Man, I had a cat that would fetch better than any of those dogs. I mean, the items would have to be cat appropriate, but she'd snag stuff out of the air going past her, grab something I'd thrown her, play with it, then bring it back for me to throw again. She'd also come when I called her. Many more things. She had a brain on her, but she wasn't any kinda slave, she was as much of a libertarian as any cat.

I was a firefighter and EMT for 25 years. I don't recall anything resembling this that would have been considered humorous during my career in firefighting.

During that time I was also a reserve deputy sheriff. My comments stand.
