I say mail in voting is too convenient and lazy and some who normally wouldn't be motivated enough to go in and vote would be encouraged to do so by mail by others that want them to vote a certain way but can't get them motivated to actually show up and vote.

That’s what it means. Not 51% though. Just > 50%.
It would need to be >50% of votes cast, which I'm not sure how they would know what that number is until all ballots were counted. Or are they somehow able to calculate an accurate tally before they count all the absentee and mail ballots?

Yep, that's the problem. The Left used the scamdemic to push mail in ballots so they can control elections going forward and we have no recourse to fix the problem. Ironic how they keep talking about "threats to democracy" when they've already killed it.
Guys we knew they were going to do this again and again.

They only have to keep harvesting for a few more elections.

As the mass illegal migration and todays teens age in, while boomers start to die off, it’s game over.

Right, you would still have to count all the ballots to know how many people voted total. But you wouldn't have to see who they were for just to count the total number. Then you could start over and count who they were for and when somebody gets >50% you could stop. I'm not sure that would save much of anything. Also it would make it so you don't know the winning margin which is extremely important for bragging rights.

Since we have a first-past-the-post system, they should stop counting when a candidate is past the post. Then if a candidate thinks he/she could be close, request a count of all the ballots. Or something like that.
Why not early voting closes one week before the election and those votes are collated but not totaled. When the polls open on Election Day, the early votes are totaled but not revealed and then after the polls close all votes are tallied and totals revealed as tallying happens. No early votes not in by the opening of the polls are allowed. If your vote doesn't get made or counted you chose unwisely, thanks for playing

Penalties for violating any stricture of voting confidentiality and propriety are made very high indeed

Get rid of the computer voting machines and tabulators. All of them can be hacked and some are set up to weight votes for whichever side is desired .
Go back to paper ballots and hand counting.
Not shenanigan proof but takes a lot more work than a weighted vote/algorithm in the machine.
    Amen!

But how do we get back to this? Those in the system are benefiting from the "game"...

What I don’t get. Why were/are they still counting days after the election? AZ. Rules say mail in balots have to be received by the county election board by election day close. How are they finding all these ballots to count days later, if they all have to be received by election close?:dunno:

Colorado. Boebert might lose because of “cured” ballots. So with the rejected mail-in ballots, they call the voters and give them 5 days to fix their ballots. And if they do, the “cured” ballots count. One would think, okay that’s kinda nutty. Seems like they should have all that settled before election day. Send your ballot in, check the status, if it’s rejected, call, find out what’s wrong. Fix it. Resubmit. And if you run out of time, that’s on you. Shouldn’t require handholding.

But if it’s up to the election officials to call the people with rejected ballots, seems like an extra opportunity for partisan officials to cheat. If we’re gonna have mail in voting, it should be up to the voters to be responsible for their own errors.

I don’t mind electronic voting machines if the code is all open source and the schematics are open to the public.

The fact that mail in voting is even up for debate, rather than flatly illegal and unthinkable, is why we can't fix the problem with votes.

Next presidential election, I wouldn't be surprised if more votes are counted than there are US citizens, and we'll be told that questioning that is domestic terrorism.

No thanks. You want to guess how much it would cost and how long it would take?

Why should tax payers have to for the bill for all this stolen election hogwash?
