Which proves my point: Obama endorsed Hillary. Didn't mean spit to anyone.
Not necessarily. Obama endorsed Hilary as a professional courtesy, and because Hilary essentially owned the DNC at that stage. Obama worked mush more closely with Biden, and it took him a lot longer to endorse his former VP than it took to endorse is former Secretary of State.

Did Obama also encourage Hilary not to run?

You are making it up as you go. You have absolutely no basis for your statements here.

What, exactly, did the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign agree to in 2015, before any votes had been cast in the Democratic primary?

The question has roiled Democratic politics since Thursday morning, when Politico published an excerpt of Donna Brazile's upcoming book about the 2016 presidential race.

Brazile took over the DNC as interim chair following Debbie Wasserman Schultz's sudden resignation during the Democratic National Convention. Once she was at the party's helm, Brazile wrote that she discovered an agreement that "specified that in exchange for raising money and investing in the DNC, Hillary would control the party's finances, strategy, and all the money raised. Her campaign had the right of refusal of who would be the party communications director, and it would make final decisions on all the other staff."

    Obama?

Your "ownership" comment was not "made up as you went". Sorry. But it is no more than an allegation.

Bernie still didn't sell this year. Mostly, because he isn't really a democrat to the old school democrats. Nice guy. Too far left. A socialist running in someone else's party.

    Biden doesn't need a campaign.

    Trump needs a campaign.

DJIA, a sliding GDP and high un-/under-employment. That needs fixing. And a virus cure.

I don't think the Democrats, including Biden, expect Biden to win. Just have to have a candidate, and prepare for 2024.

Is there any actual optimism in the Democrat party for Biden?

    Right.
The only slogan needed: "I'm not Trump."

Because every man, woman, child, lying dog-faced pony soldier, and dandelion hates Trump.

I expect a democrat to win because Trump's hill-to-climb appears similar to that of Sysiphus. Whether Joe lives long enough for the nomination might be a question, but I expect a democrat will win this year. It's always the economy. No excuses.

Reminds me of the punchline: I don't have to outrun the bear, I just have to outrun you.

I still think this is Trump's to lose. Biden isn't a great candidate, but he's better than HRC was.

That's not a great rallying cry, though.

Is he really? Clinton did have the whole first female thing going for her. Biden is an old white male in a party where that tends to be looked down upon.

Well, if my memory serves me, that means Biden will be president by your prediction.

What is it he has to offer that would make him suitable to be in the White House in your eyes other than simply being a Dem?

I, for one, wouldn't want to look at the 'convicted sex offenders in your area' on the internet and having the White House listed.

Comic relief will not lead this country anywhere but into extinction.

But the Dem's always do have a tendency for "burn it all down as long as I can rule over the ashes"...

That's why its surprising he made it out of the primary.

In the general, Trump was rewarded with those attributes.

The electoral coalitions that elected Trump will be strained, at least a bit, by a progressive gray haired dude that says nice things.

You guys need to lay off the sex stuff. Trump ****ed a lot of women he wasn't married to. There are court cases that will likely be brought post-presidency against Trump. It doesn't serve you to say you are shocked and still virginal at your age.

What does Biden have? What it always has been: He's not a republican. You cannot understand how bad a taste has been left in the mouths of so many people over the years by greedy mother****ers in the GOP.
