It's also bad, when it throws out the strategy of MAD.
Wars start when one side thinks it can win.

About Eastwood, we'll him not liking Pres. Trump doesn't make me want to vote for an anti-gunner that thinks the little people shouldn't make their own decisions.

It also does very little to support Eastwood's contention that he is a libertarian.

Someone’s feelin’ the hair on his leg. :):

Biden didn’t look that bad in this debate. No major gaffs. This time. Idunno. Maybe they had him pumped up on Adderall. But when he’s in his typical state of mind, he don’t know what state he’s in. Hed be ready for the home by the end of his first year.

As Dr. Glenn Reynolds pointed out:
Walter Russell Mead wrote in 2017:

If Trump were the Manchurian candidate that people keep wanting to believe that he is, here are some of the things he’d be doing:
Limiting fracking as much as he possibly could
    Blocking oil and gas pipelines
Opening negotiations for major nuclear arms reductions
    Cutting U.S. military spending
Trying to tamp down tensions with Russia’s ally Iran.

    ---

Yep. You know who did do these things? Obama. You know who supports these things now? Democrats.

Actions speak louder than words. Much like your limp argument about Trump temporarily withholding military aid to Ukraine, he did authorize it while Obama simply said no. He was being more flexible after all.

Right - and he might even sell uranium to the russians and then try to cover it up. That would be really bad.

So yeah, not surprising at all that the Russians want to help Trump.

Part 2: Ohhhhh oops... too soon?

A national security official I know and trust pushes back on the way the briefing/ODNI story is being told, and others with firsthand knowledge agree with his assessment.

2/ "What's been articulated in the news is that the intelligence community has concluded that the Russians are trying to help Trump again. But the intelligence doesn't say that,” the official says...

So just witnessed on the CNN where Nevada planned on using the same app as Iowa used since that blew up NV is going to use a google spread sheet.
They will call the results in and they had never had early voting before so that’s new for them as well nobody’s sure it will work. So the DNC is asking the workers to sign NDA’s ahead of the CF that is about to happen.

If it's Bloomberg I'll very much consider voting Trump, even though I swore not to.

Bloomberg is, in my opinion, extremely authoritarian, more so than Trump. Trump talks a lot and pushes things to their limits and beyond, but in the end he and his people still do what the courts tell them to.

Bloomberg is using his massive wealth to buy off, well, everyone. His "Bloomberg Philanthropies" has donated millions of dollars to politicians, nonprofits, and church groups. Now, all of them feel obliged to spout the good things about Bloomberg or at least shut up about him. Even the republican party in New York toned down their attacks after he gifted $1 million to the state GOP.

Also, during the current democratic primary he is, according to this Twitter feed, "...using his connections with other rich donors, he's personally asking them to sit this election out, so his rivals can't raise cash."

It's not enough that he has over 10 times the money Trump has, let alone his democratic primary competitors, but he still feels the need to bleed them.

This man doesn't need to be in the White House. Forget gun control, he'll try to tell all of us how to live our lives because he knows whats best, like the size of soft drinks we want.

    Rant over.

    Regards,

    Doug
