Well, here's the parts list David from CGW recommended to upgrade the sp-01. Parts cost is almost as much as the gun. Now to see if llh will do the gunsmithing.

    Race Hammer Kit - $123.00
    Short reset kit SRS-1 - $66.00
Reach reduction kit RRK (specify RRK-T2 in the comments section of the check out) - $88.00
    Stainless guide rod - $22.00
    TR-PIN - $13.00
    RP-TRS - $7.00
    2 X HPIN - $5.00
    SP - starter punch - $7.00
    EZ/D 9/40 sight set - $87.00
    S&H - $6.00

You're going to just love all of those tiny springs and pins. They don't call it the F Me spring for nothing" ;)

Truth is........I sent it home with llh.........The de-cocker is not one for my first time. Losey was cracking up.
I did the trigger on his R-1 and lined up the optic on his AR.....he dumped all those parts out on the table. (ask him about the 2 dots) and started showing me what to polish. My eyes went crossed and we cut a deal for him to do it.

I will do the 97. That one is not nearly as complicated to break my CZ cher........uh, loose my uh......you know.

I think I'm going to wait to check out the new IWI Jericho pistols before buying my next CZ. I would like to handle a full sized steel frame Jericho next to an SP01 to see how they stack up. Also interested in the compact .45

I was checking out a Cz75b at the gun shop the other day. Nothing spectacular or complex inside. I'll report back once I "cajunize" one.
i can do miracles on an AR trigger so I'm sure I've got this in the bag.

    Nononononon.......A de-cocker. Look in there.

I am not scared but I want to do the 97 1st. Once I loose my CZ cherr.......err Virg.....uh, you know, I will be cool with it.
I have 5 guns in pieces right now. Pic shows 3. Once I get caught up I will turn my limited attention span to loosing my CZ cherr.......Aw heck you know.

Well, crud, looks like I won't be able to head up North tomorrow afternoon as I'd hoped... :(

My boss was supposed to be in town Monday - Wednesday of this week, but his time got extended to the weekend, so we're doing dinner tomorrow night discussing upcoming projects. Have to try another time...
